Who accredits the medical assistant educational programs?

This can be done by either the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). If the training program hasn’t been officially recognized by either of these organizations, save your money and find another source of medical assistant training.
What other ways can the Medical Assistant Association help?

They conduct fairly regular reviews and you may be able to use the information to persuade your boss to give you a pay increase. If not, you may want to look for another job.
